What we collect
- Account data: email address, username, profile picture and the sign-in details you use.
- Seller application data: Discord tag and ID, phone number, and bond details if you choose the bonded path.
- Order data: what you bought or sold, amounts, delivery messages, screenshots and delivery proof.
- Payout data: bank or PayPal details you provide when withdrawing.
- Messages: order chat, direct messages and support tickets.
- Technical data: basic logs such as device, browser and error information.
Why we use it
- To run the marketplace, hold escrow, process payments and payouts.
- To prevent fraud, enforce our terms and resolve disputes. Order chat and direct messages may be filtered and reviewed by Styx staff for this reason.
- To provide support and send service notifications.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
Who sees it
- Other users see your username, profile picture, seller level and reviews. Your email, phone number and Discord details are not shown publicly.
- Styx staff with admin access can see account, order, message and payout data as needed to operate the service.
- Service providers process data for us: Stripe (payments), our hosting and database provider, and PayPal or your bank when we pay you out.
- We disclose data when the law requires it or to protect users from fraud.
We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep account and order records for as long as your account is open and afterwards as needed for disputes, fraud prevention, tax and accounting. Payout bank details should be deleted once a payout is complete unless we need them for a dispute.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to certain processing. Open a support ticket from your account to make a request. We may need to keep some records where the law requires.
Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections and a payment processor that handles card details, so we never store full card numbers. No system is perfectly secure, so use a strong, unique password.
